Charles Gerard Barton (26 April 1860 – 3 November 1919) was an English cricketer. Barton was a right-handed batsman who bowled slow left-arm orthodox.
Barton made his first-class debut for the Europeans (India) against the Parsees in the 1893 Bombay Tournament. Barton played two matches in the tournament, both against the Parsees.
In 1895 Barton made his debut for Hampshire in the County Championship against Somerset. Barton played three matches for Hampshire in the 1895 season. Barton's final first-class match came in 1896 when Hampshire played Somerset. This was Barton's only first-class appearance in the 1896 season.
In his six first-class matches, Barton took nine wickets at a bowling average of 22.88, with one five wicket haul, which yielded Barton career best figures of 6/27.
Barton died at Hatfield Peverel, Essex on 3 November 1919.
