Champs are a UK based band formed of two brothers, Michael and David Champion.[1]
The band are currently working on their third LP for PIAS Recordings.
Their first album, Down Like Gold, was released in 2014 to universal critical acclaim.[2]
The follow up, VAMALA, was released one year later, again to unanimous critical praise. VAMALA was recorded and produced by French record producer Dimitri Tikovoi and reportedly took 3 weeks to complete. The title track,"VAMALA" has since amassed 3.5 million streams on Spotify and boasted comprehensive radio play at BBC6 music and BBC radio1.
CHAMPS are also beginning to establish themselves as behind the scenes songwriters and are reported to be contributors on albums for Matt Cardle and Nadine Coyle (Girls Aloud).
