Century Boulevard is a street in South Los Angeles, extending from Wilmington Avenue in the east to the passenger terminals at Los Angeles International Airport in the west.
Route
For much of its run, Century Boulevard is in the same position 100th Street would be, hence the name.
Century Boulevard passes through the following neighborhoods: Watts, Harbor Gateway, South Los Angeles, Inglewood, and Westchester.
On entering LAX, Century Boulevard turns into World Way North, and on leaving LAX it originates from World Way South.
It marks the southern border for Jesse Owens Park, and the former Hollywood Park Racetrack site in Inglewood.
Public transit
Metro Local Line 117 operates on Century Boulevard.
Future Los Angeles Metro station
The Aviation/Century Metro station is a future Los Angeles Metro station to serve the new Crenshaw/LAX Line, and the existing Green Line. It will be an elevated light rail station at the intersection of Aviation and Century Boulevards, scheduled to open in 2019.
