Casey the Cop

Casey the Cop is a short humor page created by Henry Boltinoff for DC Comics.

Casey the Cop appeared sporadically in Action Comics, Detective Comics and Batman comics from 1947 to 1964. Usually a single page or half-page, it was used a filler. DC Comics history was recalled when Casey the Cop was cited as one of the names in Rip Hunter's lab in 52 Week Six.

In The New 52, a Metropolis policeman called "Casey" has appeared in a minor role in a few issues of Action Comics, usually being yelled orders by Detective Blake.[1]
