Carmen Amato
Carmen Amato is an American mystery and thriller author, best known for the Detective Emilia Cruz police procedural series set in Acapulco, including Cliff Diver, Hat Dance, Diablo Nights, and the collection of short stories Made in Acapulco. She is also the author of political thriller The Hidden Light of Mexico City. Originally from New York, she has also lived in Mexico and Central America.[1][2]
