Carezzano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 100 kilometres (62 mi) southeast of Turin and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) southeast of Alessandria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 429 and an area of 10.3 square kilometres (4.0 sq mi).[1]
The municipality of Carezzano contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Carezzano Maggiore and Carezzano Superiore.
Carezzano borders the following municipalities: Cassano Spinola, Castellania, Costa Vescovato, Paderna, Sant'Agata Fossili, Tortona, and Villalvernia.
