Campylobacter concisus is a Gram-negative, spiral, and microaerophilic bacterium. Motile, with either unipolar or bipolar flagella, the organisms have a characteristic spiral/corkscrew appearance and are oxidase-positive.[1]
C. concicus has been implicated in the induction of Crohn's disease.[2]
