California National Forest
California National Forest was established in California by the U.S. Forest Service on July 1, 1908 with 967,949 acres (3,917.15 km2) from parts of Trinity National Forest and Stony Creek National Forest. On July 12, 1932 it was renamed Mendocino National Forest. [1]
