Cakra Khan

Cakra Konta Paryaman, his stage name Cakra Khan is an Indonesian singer and songwriter. Cakra had became garnered fame in music industry with top single "Harus Terpisah". His debut studio album Cakra Khan was released on 2013.

Career

Early life

Since became student in SDN Karangbenda, Cakra already occupied to be singer. He often joining dangdut contest from stage to stage. Because failure, Cakra even joining the band in junior high and senior high school. Cakra is majored Vocal Classic faculty in Sekolah Tinggi Musik Bandung. He began his debut music career in 2012.

2012–2013: Cakra Khan

After signed Cakra in MyMusic Records and in June, he had released the debut single "Harus Terpisah". The single to became popularity and top in Indonesia for relatively short time^[1] and also to became phenomenal in Malaysia. Due to his debut single, Cakra subsequently success to earning many awards in any annual awards, such as 3 Anugerah Musik Indonesia, including "Best Pop Song", 3 Anugerah Planet Muzik in Singapore, etc. Soon after that, he had released his debut self-titled album which only sold in restaurant fast-food KFC. In 2013, Cakra releasing religious single "Opera Tuhan" and became to original soundtrack for Bidadari-Bidadari Surga.

2014–present: Collaboration and Mudah Jatuh Cinta

In addition, Cakra had collaboration with Malaysian singer Siti Nurhaliza for single "Seluruh Cinta" which to be original soundtrack for Malaysian movie Suamiku Encik Perfect 10!.^[2] After that, the collaboration single winning a award of Best Duo/Group in Anugerah Planet Muzik in 2014. Still same of year, Cakra had launching Malaysian album Makin Jatuh Cinta by Rusa Marketing Sdn Bhd., an recording music in Kuala Lumpur.

In 2015, Cakra returning releasing the single "Kau Memilih Dia" and subsequently earning a nomination for Best Song (Indonesia) at the 2016 Anugerah Planet Muzik.^[3] He singing a song of "Bubar" which entered to compilation album for Bebi Romeo Signature.

In April 2016, Cakra appointed as supporting acts with Anggun and Afgan in Dato' Siti Nurhaliza & Friends at the Stadium Negara, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and performing the song "Seluruh Cinta" with Siti Nurhaliza.^[4] Still same year, Cakra was filling to original soundtrack for film Rudy Habibie with single "Mencari Cinta Sejati". Cakra returning collaboration with Indonesian DJ Indiyana and Dutch DJ Justin Strikes for single "Heavy Dreamer" and performed at the 2015 Dreamfields EDM Festival in Bali.
