Broadway Extension

The Broadway Extension is a project (and current aim) of the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway, planned to extend northwards to as far as Broadway.

It is the aim of the GWSR on extending it's running line to the Cotswold Village of Broadway, Worcestershire, where its former station has been reconstructed from scratch.

Work on the extension began during 2005-06, and the GWSR has since re-laid and re-ballasted a total of 3 miles of track, through the site of Laverton Halt, currently up to as far as Little Buckland.
