Bombay potatoes, (sometimes called Bombay aloo),[1] is a potato dish prepared using potatoes that are cubed, boiled and then fried, and is flavored with various spices such as cumin, curry, garlic, garam masala, tumeric, mustard seeds, chili powder salt and pepper.[2][3][4][5][6] Onion, tomatoes and tomato sauce are sometimes used as ingredients.[4][5][6] Bombay potatoes is sometimes served as a side dish,[2] rather than as a main course.

Mass production

Tasty Bite manufactures and purveys a premade, precooked Bombay potatoes mix that is packaged in a 280-gram (10 oz) pouch.[7][8]
