This village has given many contributions in politics, administration, etc. There are 90% of educated people and in each house has a one Government servant.The village has many great personalities such as shri Narmada Prasad Sharma who has titled as 'Krishak Bandhu' by Hon'ble ex MP governor Shri Balram Jakhan ji (in the honor of him), as Shri Narmada Prasad Sharma (Krishak Bandhu) was four times (20 years) Sarpanch(Mayor) of Bohani village.
Presently, people approach him for justice/compromising or settlement of disputes rather than going to police station. The other personality is Shri Vijay Dutt Shridhar 'Padma Shree Awardee[4]' a writer and ex director of Navbharat News Paper.
