Robert "Bobby" Williams was a Scottish professional footballer who made over 110 appearances in the Scottish League for Airdrieonians.[2]
Personal life
Williams served as a private in the Royal Scots Fusiliers during the First World War and was killed during the Battle of the Somme on 31 August 1916.[2] He is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial.[1]
