"Blood on Blood" is a song by American rock band Bon Jovi, from their 1988 album New Jersey. It was written by Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, and Desmond Child.
The song was inspired by the 1986 movie, Stand by Me, which Jon Bon Jovi explained on the DVD This Left Feels Right Live. Bon Jovi had viewed the movie, and was so inspired by the story that he collaborated with Richie Sambora and Desmond Child.
It wasn't released as an official single, but the music video is on the VHS tape New Jersey: The Videos. The music video is black-and-white and features the band performing live in concert on the Jersey Syndicate Tour.
