Blackout is a 2007 American television film that takes place in New York City during the Northeast Blackout of 2003. Written and directed by Jerry LaMothe,[1] it stars Jeffrey Wright, Zoe Saldana, Prodigy, Michael B. Jordan, and LaTanya Richardson. The film premiered at the 2007 Zurich Film Festival.[2] It debuted on BET on February 1, 2008.[3] It was released to DVD on February 4, 2008.
