Bill Lawrence (born Willi Lorenz Stich on March 24, 1931 in Cologne-Wahn, Germany, died on November 2, 2013 in Southern California, USA) was a recording musician, a pickup designer/maker and guitar designer/maker[1] in the musical instrument industry, designing musical instrument accessories, namely pickups and guitars for Framus,[2][3][4][5] Fender, Gibson, Peavey and other companies from the 1950s to the present.[6]
