Benaulim Beach is located in the town of Benaulim[1] which is at a distance of 6 km from Margao, 41 kilometres away from Goan capital, Panaji and two kilometres away from the longest beach Colva.[2]

Overview
The best thing about Benaulim beach is that commercialization unlike other beaches has not yet happened even though it is a famous tourist destination. That is the reason this beach is famous among foreign tourists.
This beach is considered safe for swimming. Apart from sunbathing and swimming, there are also options of parasailing, jet skiing, boat ride and wind surfing available on the beach.[4]
There are few shacks on the beach and a few good hotels in the area but you can get some great sea food in there.
Travel
The nearest airport is Dabolim Airport which is about 23 km away. The nearest railway station is Madgoan junction railway station in just 15 minutes drive. Benaulim beach can be reached from Margao by bus, although the frequency of buses is low. Private transport such as cabs, auto rickshaws are also available.
