Beliaberah (also refrred to as Belaberya) is a village, with a police station, in Gopiballavpur II CD Block in Jhargram subdivision of Paschim Medinipur district in the state of West Bengal, India.

Demographics

As per 2011 Census of India Belaberya had a total population of 1,685 of which 828 (49%) were males and 857 (51%) were females. Population below 6 years was 207. The total number of literates in Belaberya was 897 (53.23% of the population over 6 years).[1]

The headquarters of Gopiballavpur II CD Block are located at Beliaberah.[2]

Education

Government General Degree College was established in 2015. It is affiliated to Vidyasagar University. It offers general courses in science and arts and honours courses in Bengali, English, sociology, anthropology and geology. [5]
