Bedok North Secondary School (BNSS) (務能中學) is a secondary school in the Aljunied district of Singapore. Founded in 1981, it briefly shared the campus with Temasek Secondary School for a year before they relocated to their new campus along Bedok North Avenue 3. It had since been relocated again on 4 December 1999 to its current premises at 20 Jalan Damai in order to accommodate the increasing number of staff and students.
Academics
In 2015, Bedok North Secondary School ranked at 132 out of the 180 secondary schools in Singapore with the average cut-off-point of 198 to enter as a Secondary One student in the Express stream.
Co-Curricular Activities
Uniformed groups
The main uniform groups are Boys' Brigade, Girls' Brigade, National Cadet Corps (NCC) - Land and National Police Cadet Corps.
Performing Arts
The main performing arts are Choir, Drama Club and Symphonic Band. In 2011, the Drama Club achieved Gold in the Singapore Youth Festival Central Judging and attained a Distinction in 2013.
Sports and Games
The main performing arts are Basketball Boys, Floorball, Sepak Takraw (Boys), and Football (Boys).
