The song peaked on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in December, 1990[1] spending four weeks at number one and spending two weeks at number one on the Adult Contemporary chart,[2] as well. It reached number six in the UK Singles Chart and number eight in the Australian Singles Chart.
The song listed at number 55 on Billboard magazine Top 100 songs for the 50th Anniversary of the Hot 100 chart.[3]
