Bayfront/E Street is a station of the Blue Line on the San Diego Trolley. It is located in Chula Vista, California. The stop serves both as a commuter center with a park and ride lot and to provide access to the dense nearby retail area.
The Bayfront/E Street station was the first infill station in the Trolley system, located along the current Blue Line, as it was added in October 1986, five years after the system's inauguration (in July 1981).
This station was renovated, starting January 3, 2014[1] as part of the Trolley Renewal Project;[2] it reopened with a renovated station platform in October 2014.[3]
