Banspani railway station (BSPX) serves Joda, the mining city of the Indian state of Odisha and it is the junction point and also a major freight loading point of the South Eastern Railway zone of the Indian Railways.
Recently the Indian Railways added the two new railway lines, conjoining this station. Two new lines are Banspani-Barbil line and Banspani-Barsuan line. Many Indian Railway Zones like South Eastern Railway, South Central Railway, East Coast Railway are running the trains experimentally on this route and via the Banspani Junction to clarify and observe the next vision to run the trains.
