Banden Station (番田駅, Banden-eki) is an Echizen Railway Mikuni Awara Line railway station located in Awara, Fukui Prefecture, Japan.

Station

Only local trains serve Banden Station. There is one track serving a single platform, and the station is unstaffed.

Except for one or two homes, the station is surrounded by fields. The center of Awara can be seen in the distance, but Awara-Yunomachi and Awaraonsen stations are closer.

December 30, 1928: Station opens.
September 1, 1942: Keifuku Electric Railway merges with Mikuni Awara Electric Railway.
June 25, 2001: Operations halted due to accident on the Echizen Main Line.
August 10, 2003: Station reopens as an Echizen Railway station.
