Banants Training Centre is the training ground and academy base of the Armenian football club FC Banants. It was opened in 200՛ on the grounds of the former Eduard Grigoryan Football School in the Malatia-Sebastia District of the capital Yerevan.[2]
The centre is used for youth and senior teams trainings. It occupies an area of 60,000 m².
As of 2016, the academy runs 6 youth teams with ages ranging between 13 and 17.[3] The directing coach of the academy is Carlos Luengo Peña from Spain.
Facilities
- Banants Stadium with a capacity of 4,860 seats, is the home stadium of Banants.
- Banants Artificial Stadium with a capacity of 610 seats, used by the reserve team known as Banants-2. The artificial pitch was installed with the assistance of the FIFA Goal Programme.
- 2 grass pitches.
- 3 mini grass pitches.
- 1 mini artificial pitch.
- 1 indoor sports hall.
- Service centre with gymnasium.
