Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Polytechnic College (BBSBPC), Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab, India was established in 2006 by the Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Educational Trust formed under the patronage of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee with the approval of the Government of Punjab.
The college is approved by AICTE New Delhi, Government of India and is affiliated to the Punjab State Board Of Technical Education and Industrial Training, Chandigarh.
The college started with Diploma programs in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information and Technology, with an intake of 60 students in each stream. In 2007, the intake was further increased to 90 students each in Computer Science and Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering, from 2007. Diploma in Civil Engineering, with an intake of 90 students, has been introduced from the session 2007. In session 2007-2008 the intake has been increased to 120 students each in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Information and Technology, and Mechanical Engineering.

Location
The college is situated in an idyllic environment and is housed in a sprawling pollution free campus of 175 acres (0.71 km2) and is located in sacred surroundings of historic Gurdwaras of Fatehgarh Sahib. The college is named after Baba Banda Singh Bahadur a saint and warrior; who conquered the Sirhind fort and laid to rest the tyranny of Mughal Empire.
