Azra Fazal Pechuho, also known as Azra Hakim Ali Zardari (Urdu: عذرا فضل پیچوہو ) (born 21 February 1953), is a politician and physician in Sindh, Pakistan. She is the sister of former President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari and sister-in-law of Benazir Bhutto. She is a member of Pakistan Peoples Party and the current chancellor of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (SZABIST). [1]
Altaf Hussain Unar was arrested for firing at her car at Nawabshah during the by-election of 2006.[2] After the assassination of former Prime Minister of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto, she became the chancellor of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (SZABIST), a private higher educational institute established by Benazir Bhutto, the former chancellor of the institute.
She is daughter of Hakim Ali Zardari and his first wife, Bilquis. She married Fazlullah Pechuho, who works for District Management Group of the Central Superior Services of Pakistan. She has a son, Muhammad Pechuho.
