Azam Basti
Azam Basti (Urdu: اعظم بستی ) is one of the neighbourhoods of Jamshed Town in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan.[1]
There are several ethnic groups in Azam Basti including Muhajirs, Punjabis, Sindhis, Kashmiris, Seraikis, Pakhtuns, Balochis, Memons, Bohras, Ismailis, etc. Over 90% of the population is Muslim. The population of Jamshed Town is estimated to be nearly one million.
Azam Basti contains a vibrant Christian population represented by the Catholic parish of St Paul.[2]
Mostly People of Azam Basti are very humble Nature and love each other. but after unauthorized populated, which are established in inside of KDA, hereafter this tension are increased day by day. Govt should be notice and kick out this unauthorized people
