Ayesha Siddiqa Girls School
Ayesha Siddiqa Girls School is an Islamic school in Southall, London Borough of Ealing, West London, England. It is located on the second and third floors of the Abu Bakr Mosque.[1]
It serves ages 11–19, and as of 2016 it has 84 students.[1]
School uniform
In 2013 the Daily Mail wrote that the school requires students to wear a navy blue burqa or a navy blue jilbab.[2] On its website the school stated "We do not force our students to wear a veil (face cover). Our uniform policy is navy blue abaya and a navy blue head scarf (not a burka or face veil) Our policy does not stipulate anywhere that students are required to wear the niqaab".[3]
