Austin Lee Voth (born June 26, 1992) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Washington Nationals organization.
Career
Voth played college baseball at the University of Washington for the Huskies from 2011 to 2013. During his career he appeared in 53 games with 39 starts and went 16–12 with a 3.96 earned run average (ERA) and 213 strikeouts.
Voth was drafted by the Washington Nationals in the fifth round of the 2013 Major League Baseball Draft.[1][2] He made his professional debut that season with the Gulf Coast Nationals and spent time with the Auburn Doubledays and Hagerstown Suns.[3][4] He finished the year with a 1.75 ERA over 11 starts with 55 strikeouts in 46 1⁄3 innings. Voth returned to Hagerstown to start the 2014 season. He was promoted to the Potomac Nationals in June and then the Double-A Harrisburg Senators in July.[5][6] Between the three levels, he had a 2.77 ERA with 133 strikeouts in 126 2⁄3 innings.
The Nationals added Voth to their 40-man roster after the 2016 season.[7]
