Aung Maung Gyi (born 15 December 1945) is a Burmese male former weightlifter, who competed in the 52 kg category and represented Burma at international competitions. He won the gold medal in the snatch at the 1972 World Weightlifting Championships lifting 105.0 kg.[1] He is a world record holder in Olympic weightlifting.
