Arthur Buckler (24 April 1882[1] — 19 March 1921 (aged 38)[2]) birth registered in Newport district, was a Welsh professional rugby league footballer of the 1900s and 1910s, playing at representative level for Wales, and at club level for Salford, as a Prop, i.e. number 8 or 10, during the era of contested scrums,[3] his death was registered in Newport district.

International honours

Arthur Buckler won a cap for Wales while at Salford in 1908 against England.[4]

Arthur Buckler was the younger brother of the rugby league footballer for Other Nationalities, and Salford, Herbert Buckler.
