Arnim Whisler is a business man from Greater Chicago area, the owner of Chicago Red Stars soccer club and other business ventures. Whisler was educated at Purdue University and University of Chicago.[1] Occasionally, Whisler is heard providing live commentary on the Red Stars game webcast.[2]
Chicago Red Stars
In 2010, Arnim Whistler was one of the owners of Chicago Red Stars competing in Women's Professional Soccer league.[3] In 2011, Arnim Whisler became the single owner of Chicago Red Stars.[4] Under Whisler's ownershp the Red Stars left the Women's Professional Soccer league due to difficuties in satisfying the league's financial requirements, and joined the Women’s Premier Soccer League.[5] In 2012 the club played in Women's Premier Soccer League Elite,[6] and in 2013 joined the National Women's Soccer League as a founding member.[7][8]
