The wingspan is 14-15 mm. The forewings are dark indigo-grey, irregularly mixed or marbled ochreous-whitish and with a silvery-white spot on the base of the costa. There is a white patch occupying the costal half of the wing, its anterior portion suffused pale brownish-ochreous, an elongate fuscous mark on the costa beyond the middle, the dark portion of the wing somewhat extended upwards before the termen, the plical and second discal stigmata appearing in it as small dark fuscous spots. The hindwings are whitish-grey.[2]
