Annamalai Reddiyar

Annamalai Reddiyar was a Tamil poet. He was born in Sennikulam, Sankarankoil taluk, Tirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu in 1865. His mother is Ovuammal. His father is chennavareddiar.his wife name Guruvammal.he was disciple of Kazhugumalai murugan and sankaran koil Gomathi ambaal.Reddiyar and king hirudalaya marudhappa thevar very close friend.Reddiyar was a chief poet of Uthumalai jameen. He was very creative in his childhood. He wrote books like kaavadisindhu, gomathi anthathi, veerai anthathi,seetu kavi,navaneetha krishnan anthadhi and morethen 20 books and 5000 poems.But we got very small amount of poems and books.
