Amritpur is a prominent town and one of three tehsils in the Farrukhabad district of the state of Uttar Pradesh in northern India. The other two tehsils are Farrukhabad and Kaimganj. Amritpur tehsil was created from Rajepur Block after the district was split in 1997.
Location
Amritpur is located 13 km north of Fatehgarh, 10 km from Shamsabad, 5 km from Allahganj and 11 km from Farrukhabad,14 km from Jarianpur and 10 km from Rajepur .
