The Women's Downhill competition of the Calgary 1988 Olympics was held at Nakiska.[1]
The defending world champion was Maria Walliser of Switzerland, while Switzerland's Michela Figini was the defending World Cup downhill champion and led the 1988 World Cup.[2][3]
