The Institute of Monuments of Albania "Gani Strazimiri" (Albanian: Instituti i Monumenteve, Instituti i Monumenteve të Kulturës "Gani Strazimiri", IMK) is a government entity which focuses on protecting, restoration, and valuation of the cultural and historical monuments. It is located in Tirana.

The institute was founded on 2 July 1965. As an official entity, it is under the umbrella of the Ministry of Culture. Its task is to protect, restore, and valuate the inherited monuments within the country. It also enforces the respective legislation with regards to monuments, cultural heritage, and tourism, it takes charge of tangible and intangible monuments, prepares and qualifies the staff, and authorizes restorations after having defined the restoration criteria first.[1]

Beside the central executive body, it strictly cooperates with local governments and other scientific, cultural, and religious organizations.[1]

In 2007, the institute was named after its first director, the architect Gani Strazimiri.[2]

Its chairwoman as of 2015 is Arta Dollani.
