Aleru is a village in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district of the Indian state of Telangana. It is located in Aler mandal of Bhongir division.[1]
Geography
Aleru is located at 17°39′00″N 79°03′00″E / 17.6500°N 79.0500°E.[2] It has an average elevation of 361 metres (1187 ft).
Politics
Arutla Kamala Devi was elected 3 times to the state assembly and she is the only women opposition leader till date ( United Andhra Prades & Telangana ). Mothkupally Narsimhulu was elected 5 times to the state assembly from this constituency. In 2009 elections, Budida Bixmaiah Goud of the Indian National Congress got elected to the Legislative Assembly. Gongidi Suntiha Mahender Reddy from TRS won the 2014 elections with a margin of 34000 over Budida Bixmaiah Goud of the Indian National Congress. she is presently been appointed as Govt Whip as well.
