Aisha Duo is the name of an Italian jazz musical duo. The members are Andrea Dulbecco (Vibraphone) and Luca Gusella (Marimba), musicians who began working together after being in the same percussion class at the Conservatory of Milan.
The term "aisha" is an Arabic female name meaning "alive".
Marco Decimo (Cello) and Glen Velez (Frame Drums) appeared on Aisha Duo's first (live) recording, Quiet Songs.[1]
Two of the band's songs, Amanda and Despertar, are loaded by default onto any computer with an installation of Microsoft's Windows Vista operating system.
Amanda was featured on the PC game The Sims 2, released in 2004.
