African feminism
African feminism is a strain of feminism that is innovated by African women about the conditions of continental African women. It includes such forms as Motherism, Femalism, Snail-sense Feminism, Womanism/women palavering, Nego-feminism, Stiwanism, and African Womanism.[1] The necessity of African feminism emerges from the black woman, and particularly the African woman residing on the African continent's, exclusion from white Western feminisms. White Western feminism classifies African women as women of colour which in turns erases and represses their historical trajectories and their specific experiences.[1]
