Adem Kala (born 20 June 1976) is a Turkish born Dutch male former weightlifter, competing in the 94 kg category and representing Netherlands at international competitions. He competed at the 2002 World Weightlifting Championships and 2003 World Weightlifting Championships.[1] His score of 197.5 kg in the clean & jerk at the 2003 World Championships was a new national record. It was beaten by Karen Tovmasjan in December 2014.[2] His coach was Dionisio Rozalina.
in 1998 he moved from Turkey to the Netherlands and from 2002 he was allowed to represent the Netherlands in weightlifting.[3][4]
