Adavalle Aligithe (English: If Ladies Show Sulk) is a 1983 Telugu, comedy film, produced by Akkineni Srinivasa Rao, Yarramshetty Anjineeyulu on Vijaya Chitra Pictures banner[2] and directed by Vejella Satyanarayana.[3] Starring Gummadi, Nutan Prasad, Rajendra Prasad, Ranganath, Devika, Rajyalakshmi in the lead roles[4] and music composed by Krishna-Chakra.[5]

Plot

The movie about a joint family, Subbarayudu (Gummadi) head of the family his wife Venkatalakshmi (Devika). He is having 4 brothers Ganapathi (Nutan Prasad) his wife Rajeswari (P. R. Varalakshmi), Prasad (Ranganath) his wife Sharada (Veejella Rajeswari), Karthik (Rajendra Prasad) his wife Anasuya (Rajyalakshmi), Paru (Sai Chand) his wife Jaya (Vanitha Sri). All of them live very happily but the only problem is husbands ignore their wives as according to them, wives are to be kept under control for a happy family. The ladies resent this and play a drama to change their husbands' perception with the intention of creating a happy and affectionate family in which everyone respects each other. Will the wives be able to execute their plan?
