Acharya Chandrajeet Gautam (आचार्य चन्द्रजीत गौतम)is a controversial Buddhist Preacher from Eastern India. He born at Gothawn ( गोठांव ) in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh India on 20 March 1956. Hi known as other names like Acharya Ji, Dhammacharya Ji, Guru Ji, Gautam Ji, Bhante Medhankar etc.

His father's name was Charitra and mother's name Ratau. Hi was marryed with Kalavatee Gautam. His mother was dead in 1988. Hi was from a poor family so hi was complited only junior high school. His have 1 daughter Saroj Gautam and 2 sons Buddhadeep Gautam and Dhammadeep Gautam. Hi has founded a organization Buddhayaan Bheem Jyoti Samiti and a Buddha Vihar (International Buddhist Temple) at Gothawn.
