"A Toast to Men (F*ck the Men)" is a single from pop singer Willa Ford. It is the only single to be released from her 2004 second album SexySexObsessive, which was ultimately shelved. The song was featured in the 2004 film Barbershop 2: Back in Business.

Song

Ford got the inspiration for her hip-hop and dancehall-fueled female empowerment anthem "A Toast to Men (F*ck the Men)", at a sorority party she had attended with some friends. At the party the sorority sisters got together and chanted, "Fuck the men, let's drink to us". The song, which was written by Toby Gad, Rhonda N. Robinson and Ford, is about girls having fun and forgetting about men for the night.

"A Toast to Men (F*ck the Men)" caused some controversy at radio because of the title, and how DJs should pronounce it. In the radio edited version of the song the word "fuck" was replaced with a space/scratch noise.

Video

There are two versions of the video, one censored and one uncensored. Both are similar with the concept of a sorority party.

Also the "A Toast to Men (F*ck the Men)" video was featured in promo spots during CBS's daytime programming.
