The 2016 Phillips 66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Tournament was a postseason men's basketball tournament for the Big 12 Conference. It was played from March 9 to 12, in Kansas City, Missouri at the Sprint Center. Kansas won the tournament for the 10th time and will receive the conference's automatic bid to the 2016 NCAA Tournament.
Seeds
All 10 conference teams participated in the tournament. The top six teams earned a first round bye.
Teams were seeded by record within the conference, with a tiebreaker system to seed teams with identical conference records.
