- February 18 - Nickelodeon celebrates the revival of show The Fairly OddParents with the TV movie Fairly OddBaby. This has been the first new episode since 2006.
- March 23 - Futurama returns to air on Comedy Central after its cancellation by Fox in 2003, and was revived as direct to video movies, and new episodes would air in 2010.
- September 20 - After 11-years, the Toonami block was officially canceled by Cartoon Network.
