The 1998 OFC Nations Cup Final was the final match of the 1998 OFC Nations Cup. It was held on 4 October in Brisbane between Australia and New Zealand. New Zealand won the match 1–0 with Mark Burton scoring the only goal in the 24th minute. New Zealand won the right to play in the 1999 FIFA Confederations Cup as the representative from the OFC.[1]
