1998 Davis Cup Asia/Oceania Zone Group IV

The Group IV tournament was held February 9-15, in Dhaka, Bangladesh, on hard courts. The seven teams played a round-robin tournament, and the top two finishers were promoted to Group III for 1999.[1]
The tournament marked the return of Iraq to Davis Cup competition after a seven-year absence. Iraq had previously participated in only three ties, from 1988 to 1990.
